Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Cadre ("the app") handles information when you use it. Cadre is a camera and photo-editing app. Unless you explicitly use optional Apple services described below, we do not operate our own servers for your photos or personal content.
1 Data stored on your device
Photos you capture or create in Cadre, notes, filters, frame choices, collage layouts, and app settings are stored locally on your iPhone using standard iOS storage. That content stays on your device unless you choose to back it up through Apple's systems (see below) or share it yourself (for example via the system share sheet).
2 Optional iCloud photo backup
If you turn on iCloud photo backup in Settings, Cadre may copy your saved Cadre photos into your personal iCloud Drive container so they can sync across your devices and follow your iCloud account settings. That uses Apple's iCloud infrastructure; we do not receive a separate copy on our own servers. Whether files upload, how they are encrypted in transit and at rest, and retention are governed by Apple's iCloud terms and your Apple ID settings.
3 Photo library import
When you import a photo from your library, iOS grants the app access only to the items you select. Imported images are processed on your device and stored like other Cadre photos. We do not upload your entire photo library to Cadre or to servers we control.
4 Location
If you allow Camera location access, location data you choose to attach may be stored with your photo metadata locally (and in any iCloud backup copies if that feature is enabled). Cadre does not send that location to analytics or advertising services we operate.
5 Cadre Premium (subscriptions)
Cadre Premium is an auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple through your Apple ID. Apple handles payment and renewal; we do not receive your full payment card number. The app uses StoreKit on device to verify whether your Apple ID has an active subscription so premium features can unlock. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
6 Analytics and advertising
Cadre does not embed third-party advertising SDKs or analytics trackers for behavioral profiling in the app as described in this policy. Local notifications you may receive (for example reminders) are scheduled on your device and are not used to sell your data.
7 Children's privacy
Cadre is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.
8 Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date will change when we do.
